APP FAQ

With the launch of our new and improved VENT APP , you probably have tons of questions about the old one!
Q. Is the old app still downloadable?
A. The old app is no longer downloadable, and you will no longer be able use it to sign-up for classes or check-in to the club. You can however do all of this and more from the NEW mobile app.
Q. What about the points I earned from the old app?
A. All points earned from the old mobile app may be redeemed at the Energy Bar until 4/30 . Points will be nonredeemable after 4/30 .
Q. Does the new app have a point system?
A. YES! The new and improved app will soon hold monthly, weekly, and/or daily challenges towards things like max calorie burn, highest trophy point winner, most member check-ins, and weight loss! Purchase your heart rate monitor and sync it to the app. This will allow you to monitor workouts, participate in challenges, and collect prizes. Stay tuned for prize announcements!
Q. …but why a new app?
A. We decided to create a new app to reinVENT the way we interact and engage with our members. The bottom line is, we’d like to motivate our members to do more than just check-in to the gym! Our new app is designed to keep you engaged and encourages you and your friends to stay motivated to push through every boundary!
Q. What are the minimum OS requirements?
A. The minimum system requirements are Android 5.0 and higher, and for iOS, 10.x and Higher

Q. How do I schedule a class?

A. Click “schedule” on the footer of the home screen > click the “location icon” at the top right of the screen to pick your club > Click “View Schedule” > Select class > Click “Schedule Class”

Q. How do I cancel a class I’ve scheduled through the app?
A. Once scheduled, class appears on home screen above “refer a friend” button > Click the class > Swipe left > Click “trash can icon” > Click “Yes, Cancel”
Q. How do I access other areas of the app?

A. You can navigate via the “menu icon” at the top left of the home screen, or using the icons on the footer of the home screen

Q. How do I connect my VENT Fitness heart rate monitor (HRM)?
A. Make sure your bluetooth is on, your HRM is attached to the strap, and you remember your HRM “sensor ID number” (on back of HRM). Click the “workouts” icon on the footer of the home page > Click the “heart rate icon” at the top right of the screen > click “connect to device”> Select your device > click “start workout.”
(If the app says “no match found,” repeat steps until it pops up. If after 3-5 attempts, you are still having issues, please fill out this form and our app guru Bryan will get back to you.

TROUBLESHOOTING

I can’t log into the new app because the username/password reset isn’t working

Try logging out and back in — make sure you are logging into the facility you attend most, as VENT Fitness and VENT Studio data is recorded separately
My heart rate isn’t detected when trying to record a manual workout
Is the monitor on your body? Is the rubber part of the strap behind the monitor in clear contact with your skin? Are both buttons snapped on? Once these are confirmed, click the heart icon on the top right of your app and then CONNECT TO DEVICE. Once your monitor is detected, click start workout and you’re off to the races. If it is still not detecting you may need a new battery or your monitor may not be compatible (we currently support the heart rate monitors available at the VENT Shop). We recommend you store your monitor with the device detached from the strap; this will help preserve battery life as once attached it will begin drawing power from your battery.
