Develop a competitive edge with PERFORM

The VENT Fitness Sports Performance program — PERFORM — is designed to meet all the needs of today’s athlete in a progressive, structured program designed to help each athlete achieve his/her personal peak performance. PERFORM is available as private sessions and small group sessions, or our specially-trained PERFORM training staff can create a specific program for your athlete or team. Each session takes place in our state of the art PERFORM room, thus ensuring you are using the best equipment to meet the specific needs of your athletes.

Private PERFORM Sessions

offer one-on-one training that every athlete can benefit from. This type of training allows our PERFORM trainers to target the individual needs of the athlete. Each session is one hour and offers greater flexibility for scheduling.

Small Group PERFORM Sessions

offer athletes the opportunity to improve their power, strength, speed, agility, and quickness while reducing the risk of injury. All athletes will benefit from the gains made in these sessions. These sessions are scheduled regularly at our Guilderland location and are available on a first-come first-serve basis. You can attend one session or multiple sessions depending on your needs and schedule.
Minimum age for participation is 12 years; Olympic lifting is 15 years. Maximum of six participants.
Available Small Group Sessions:
Olympic Lifting/Powerlifting – This PERFORM session will focus on the technique of the power clean, snatch, bench press, squat and deadlift.

Training the Female Athlete – Female athletes are up to 10 times more susceptible to certain injuries than their male counterparts, simply due to biomechanical and neuromuscular differences. This holds particularly true in the lower body. This session is designed specifically to address injury prevention, strength and conditioning needs of the female athlete while enhancing performance.

Speed Agility and Quickness (SAQ) – This session is designed to help you reach your speed potential. Our trainers will use multiple exercises and drills to improve your multidirectional speed, acceleration and reaction time.

Team PERFORM Sessions

Bring your team together for one session or an entire off-season of training. We work with coaches to develop a program to meet the demands of your sport and team. Minimum of 6 participants; additional trainer will be added over 10.
